1) The carrier and driver jointly and separately are authorized to operate and transport the motor vehicle between its pickup location and the destination. All deposits paid are final and non-refundable. Pickup and delivery dates are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier schedules, mechanical failure, weather conditions, acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances. Auto Trans World is not responsible for any costs incurred due to delays, including airline tickets or rental car fees. The client agrees to release Auto Trans World from any liability and waives the right to sue Auto Trans World or its agents.
2) The client agrees not to contract any other broker or carrier during the time period corresponding with their shipping option. Any violation will result in a non-refundable deposit fee.
3) Contracted carriers provide door-to-door transport if physically accessible. If access is restricted due to narrow streets, low-hanging trees, or tight turns, the driver may request meeting at a nearby parking location.
4) Carriers are not licensed or insured to transport personal or household goods. Personal items must be placed in the trunk and limited to 100 lbs. Carrier is not liable for damage caused by improper or excessive loading. Misrepresentation may result in price changes, additional fees, or a $150 dry run fee. If the vehicle is not ready, a $75 rescheduling fee applies.
5) Vehicles must be in good running condition with no more than half a tank of fuel. The carrier is not liable for damage caused by leaking fluids, freezing, exhaust systems, or unsecured parts. Any loss or damage must be noted on the condition report at delivery.
6) Carriers maintain cargo insurance coverage ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 per load and a minimum of $750,000 public liability insurance. Any damage during transport is the responsibility of the carrier. Claims must be submitted in writing within 15 days of delivery.
7) If a carrier is dispatched and the vehicle is not ready, a $75 rescheduling fee will apply. If the vehicle becomes unavailable during the scheduled pickup window, the deposit will not be refunded.
8) The client must not release or receive the vehicle without a Bill of Lading (BOL). Failure to note damage on the BOL will result in loss of claim rights. Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
9). Dispatched orders must be canceled by phone or email at least 24 hours before the pickup date. Canceled dispatched orders are subject to a non-refundable $200 fee.
10) A $150 non-operational fee applies to all non-running vehicles and is included in the final quote. If the vehicle becomes inoperable during transport, this fee will apply.
11). Due to fluctuations in fuel prices, driver availability, weather conditions, and market demand, customers may be re-quoted up to 25% higher than the original quote. Customer approval is required to proceed.
12). Auto Trans World does not guarantee pickup or delivery dates and is not responsible for rental vehicle costs or mechanical failures. The shipper agrees not to initiate any chargebacks.
13) This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action must be filed in California courts. The client authorizes payment of a down payment and agrees that the remaining balance is due upon delivery via approved payment methods.
